  • Determine your target audience

When you know who you are and what your goals are, it will be easier for you to determine your target audience. Knowing who will be interested in what you have to say is very important, because no matter how good your content is, sharing it with the wrong people won’t give you the results you want.

If someone publishes a post talking about a problem they are having, don’t simply try to offer them products or try to get them to like your page, follow you etc.

Instead, you have to offer them valuable information that helps them solve their problems. This is how you will slowly build trust and a loyal follower base. All of the posts, comments, and content you put out need to be focused on giving answers, suggestions and help for solving certain problems. The key is to try and invoke trust with viewers/readers. Once you’ve achieved this, they will be open to getting products or services through you.

All audiences are different and your tone has to match the expectations of your followers. The way you say and present something matters. In fact, it can be the difference between someone taking you seriously and giving you their time, and people simply clicking away a second after they see you post.

The beginning can be very difficult, so don’t think that you can easily become a real influencer. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. This is why it’s generally a great idea to collaborate with influencers that are bigger than you. By mentioning people, reaching out to them or inviting them to a joint podcast, you can get a lot of new views and followers
